Health is not just the absence of illness — it is the presence of dignity, belonging, and joy. We offer integrated care that meets people where they are: gender affirming medicine, mental health, nutrition, wellness services, and community spaces that nourish the whole person. Our community shapes everything we do.

ACCESS WITHOUT COMPROMISE

Affirming care belongs to everyone. We accept insurance — including Medicare and Medicaid. Our patient care fund covers travel, lodging, and direct care costs. We protect same-day appointments so our community never ends up in emergency rooms where they face inequitable treatment and medical trauma. Access is non-negotiable.

PEOPLE AS OUR FOUNDATION

The staff who care for our community deserve to be cared for in return. Living wages, real benefits, paid time off, professional growth, and a workplace built on respect — these are not perks. They are the foundation of extraordinary care.

In 2025, as threats to gender affirming care for minors continued to mount, hospital systems across the country stopped providing care. Even in Colorado, where that care is legally protected, families were scrambling by early 2026 to find providers who would continue — or start — treatment and accept insurance. In such terrifying times, the last thing these families needed was a financial barrier standing between them and care.

The unease didn't stop there. Threats loomed over adult care, marriage equality, reproductive freedom, and conversion therapy protections. The attacks were broad, coordinated, and ongoing.

Dr. Pearson refused to wait. Partnering with RISE Collective, they launched a private clinic designed to create a sustainable, affirming space for families — with a vision of expanding to serve the entire LGBTQIA+ community and fill the critical gap in Colorado for accessible, LGBTQ-friendly care.

From that partnership, PHNX Collective was born — a 501(c)(3) nonprofit powered by community, dedicated to funding gender affirming care for youth today, building out a permanent LGBTQIA+ Health Center for 2027, and ensuring that no patient is ever turned away for financial reasons.
